Eastern Maine Medical Center is a 411 bed, regional tertiary care and ACS verified level II trauma center serving a patient population of 500,000 living in the northern 2/3 of the state's geography. Our hospital has invested in a new 300 million dollar inpatient tower opened this year and we are on strong financial footing going into 2017.

Our community has a wide array of urban amenities without the traffic or other frustrations of larger cities. Bangor serves as the regional hub for medicine, the arts and commerce. Schools rank among New England's best and the flagship campus of the University of Maine is located in Neighboring Orono as well as Husson University located in Bangor, Maine.
