Position Summary: Per Diem Coverage

Maine Coast Women's Care is seeking an experienced and energetic Certified Nurse Midwife to provide per diem coverage immediately and on-going through the fall. We are a hospital-based women's health group comprised of 4 Certified Nurse Midwives and 1.5 OB-GYN Physicians. We practice full scope midwifery care and our group attends about 250 - 275 births/year at our community access hospital (Maine Coast Memorial Hospital) in a progressive and family centered LDRP unit where couples' choices in childbirth are respected. This position comes with a competitive compensation and full benefits package.

Qualifications: Midwifery Certification Required MSN CNM - One year of clinical midwifery experience preferred Current APRN License Required

Maine Coast Memorial Hospital is a 65-bed community hospital serving a population of 40,000. The facility offers a variety of surgical and specialty services, a large primary care group with offices throughout the region. A modern ED is staffed 24/7 by physicians with annual visits of over 18,000. Inpatient care is handled by a full service Hospitalist Team
