ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISANT I - EMMC PROVIDER RECRUITMENT DEPARTMENT

POSITION SUMMARY: Position will provide support to the EMMC Provider Recruitment team and directly support the EMHS Director of Provider Recruitment. Responsible for day-to-day functions of the office, scheduling, preparation of documents and all outgoing correspondence, posting job advertisements on websites, record keeping, participating in recruitment events, maintaining the internal EMMC candidate database, and quarterly provider orientation. This position will work closely other Provider Recruiters at EMHS affiliates in support of Provider Recruitment functions.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2+ years' office experience to include frontline customer service

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED: Knowledge of medical terminology and recruiting functions is helpful. Associates Degree or equivalent experience.

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required

· Experience with coordinating meetings and recording meeting minutes

· Familiar with databases

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to work effectively with others including physicians and other professionals

· Ability to prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment

· Must be a motivated self-starter

· Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly and effectively

· Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities and deadlines

· Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and strong organizational and communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Flexibility, dexterity, visual acuity, hearing acuity. Able to work sitting at workstation, using a keyboard, working in from of a video display monitor and answering the phone most of the day. Moderate walking throughout the facility. Light lifting of files and manuals, some bending to file.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Administrative office environment providing secretarial support to Department. Considerable interdepartmental contact utilizing both phone and computer. Flexibility necessary to support early morning and late afternoon meetings.
