Job Details Mercy Hospital is hiring for a full time Hospitalist with ability to do procedures. The compensation has recently been restructured!

We are looking for a Hospitalistwho will admit patients to the 7 bed ICU unit, work alongside our intensivist team, and is well prepared to do procedures. We seek physicians who are advocates for their patients' care, strong collaborators and capable of building positive relationships with patients, peers, nurses, and intensivists.

The perfect candidate will be an MD or DO BC/BE in Internal Medicine, well experienced with Central lines (IJ), arterial catheter, airway management (intubation), vent management, and noninvasive ventilation (CPAP, BiPAP). Additional experience with Thoracentesis, paracentesis, ultrasound paracentesis, chest tubes, and Central line (subclav) is a plus.

Job Requirements:

Must be Board certified or eligible internal medicine (specify board). Must be eligible for a State of Maine license.

A MD or DO required. Must be eligible for Mercy Hospital Staff membership.The incumbent must have an interest in the care of hospitalized patients. Must have a commitment to high quality, resource-efficient care. Must possess excellent communications skills.
