Job Details Job Summary
This is an independent, collaborative position supporting the strategic sourcing and contracting of non-labor spend. The Contract Manager reports to Dir. Sourcing and Contracting and is responsible for managing assigned non-labor contracts and initiatives. This position collaborates with Supply Chain members on optimizing group purchasing contracts, implementing multiyear strategic alliances with suppliers to leverage volume, reducing the number of vendors and standardizing products. Position will lead team pods working on sourcing initiatives, supporting the Value Analysis process, and upon completion of agreements will work with the Analytics team to verify negotiated compliance to ensure value and service are achieved. Sources and negotiates assigned initiatives and makes significant contributions to supply chain from a quality, price and service perspective. Manages supplier/vendor relationships and conducts business reviews with high spend suppliers/vendors.

Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree required; in Business or related field preferred.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Minimum of 3 years of Contract Management work including sourcing and negotiating required; preferably in a hospital or IDN environment. Strong and effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required. Knowledge of contracting law, governing regulations and sourcing principles and practices. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, power point) a must. Highly organized and ability to manage multiple projects requird. Must have and maintain a Can Do Attitude.

Service
•Work with member facilities and supply chain team on assigned initiatives to drive contract compliance.
•Research market trends and stakeholder requirements to source, select and partner with vendors
•Develop and lead RFP, RFI's based on specifications provided by subject matter experts
•Negotiate price, terms and conditions and vendor performance expectations
•Partners with customers and team to ensure full understanding of customer needs to delivery outstanding customer service
•Meets deadlines and responds to customers in a timely manner.
•Serves on and/or lead assigned Value Analysis or other committees.

Quality
•Works closely with the legal department to ensures contract terms and conditions are solid and comply with organization standard terms and conditions.
•Meets deadlines for projects and contract expiration
•Conducts business review with key vendors/suppliers and resolves issues as necessary
•Leads an organized process for each initiative assigned
•Meets established team KPI's
•Tracks projects using internal tool on a weekly basis

Finance
•Meets established KPI's, to include contract compliance and savings targets
•Proactively identifies and acts on savings opportunities using the supply chain value analysis process.
•Assists Procurement team with resolving price discrepancies.

Growth
•Works with team and implementation teams to on board new corporate and non-corporate members.
•Proactively seeks out solutions to problems

Physical Demands
•Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally, sitting most of the time, and only brief periods of standing and walking.
•Requires the ability to travel to member organizations as needed
