Job Details JOB SUMMARY:

The care delivery and pharmacy analyst supports population health utilization initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to the director of pharmacy and care delivery and collaborating partners. Helps develop and drive clinical improvement and efficiency strategies through the delivery of actionable analytic dashboards.

Reports to: Director of pharmacy and care delivery with significant interactions with the chief population health officer and senior data scientist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage Beacon Health or Population Health functions surrounding utilization and care delivery

• Create and upkeep actionable dashboards and reports for projects relating to care delivery and utilization

• Create actionable dashboards and reports for patient engagement and experience

• Work with other team members to standardize reporting processes for all contracted health plans

• Create, run, manipulate, and distribute reports for the members/partners and Beacon Health leadership team

• Conduct a minimum of monthly meetings with Beacon Health leadership team to review processes, outcomes and action items for each initiative underway.

• Continuously research and investigate new opportunities for care delivery programs and initiatives within Beacon Health.

• Combine organizational quality results with utilization results into actionable format

• Create pharmacy-related utilization and quality reports for Beacon Health partners/members

• Schedule and assist with meetings/coordination projects relating to utilization, care delivery, patient experience, and employee experience

• Assist in the development of evidence based care pathways for development in various EMRs

• Coordinate the implementation of clinical standards distribution, implementation, and measurement in Beacon Health members

• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Superior knowledge base with Microsoft EXCEL and ACCESS with proficiency with other Microsoft products and ability to learn various system software

• Ability to translate large data sets of cost and quality data into concise dashboards for Beacon Health leadership team and other executives.

• Assess contents of pharmacy and medical claims for application in real-world projects

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. At least five years' experience in clinical setting with prior experience with quality improvement programs, healthcare utilization, and clinical informatics. Experience in pharmacy and/or medical field is a significant plus.

• Must have valid driver's license as travel is required.

• The successful candidate will also possess no less than five years' experience working in a fast paced office environment, including responsibility for accurate data entry, efficient management of multiple projects, and independent problem solving using pre-established guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Flexibility, dexterity, visual acuity, hearing acuity. Able to work sitting at work station, using a keyboard, working in front of a video display monitor and answering the phone most of the day. Moderate walking throughout the facility. Light lifting of files and manuals, some bending to file.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment, well-heated and well-ventilated. Ergonomically correct work station.
