Job Details Job Summary:
Perform analysis, development, testing, documenting and troubleshooting of software applications using a variety of programming languages and tools. Provide technical assistance and programming support to users of computer applications across several disparate systems. For this position, emphasis will be on the skills needed to support Cerner Millennium: CCL or Rules experience or strong experience working with relational databases and SQL scripting.

Job Requirements:
* Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; preferably with the tools employed by EMHS for programming application development & support.
* Knowledge of healthcare and hospital clinical or management systems is desired.
* Ability to write programs and procedures utilizing one or more of the following languages and tools: Visual Basic, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access, Siemens Adhoc Report Writer, Cerner CCL, Cerner Rules, and Cobol/Lawson 4GL.
* Application development also requires expertise in one or more of the following operating system areas: MS Windows, AIX, Unix or HP/UX.
* A good understanding of relational databases such as MS Access, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server is required.
* Some programming experience with relational databases is preferred.

Good communication skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time are also required.
