Job Details We have a great position for a billing & reimbursement leadwanting to make a positive difference in someone's life! You would be responsible for supporting billing and reimbursement staff in the functions required to promote and maintain the integrity of VNA's billing and collection functions.Your responsibilities include investigating open claims pending payment, reviewing and appealing all denials of service for all payers, coordinating the claim investigations, appeals and denials process, assisting in dissemination and integration of new information to billing staff, and coordinating payer changes with appropriate revenue cycle and clinical personnel. Additionally, you would be responsible formaintenance and training for the organization's electronic billing software.Utilizing the latest information technologies and telecommunication systems, VNA provides you with a variety of experiences. In addition you would play an integral role in collaborating with other members of the administrative team.

An Associate's degree in an administrative, Health, or business related field, or the equivalent in professional knowledge and experience
Fiveyearsin client accounts,billing, or insurance eligibility and authorization experience or advanced degree in a related field
Certification as a certified professional biller (or willing to obtain within six months of hire)
Demonstrated knowledge of home health billing regulations, Medicare billing regulations and insurance authorization processes
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly analytical application software
Evidence of effective communication skills, using verbal, written, and telephonic means
Willing to travel occasionally state-wide
